Emergency Closing Information

The Superintendent of Schools is responsible for the closing of school when an emergency occurs which would affect the health and safety of students.

Emergency school closing information will be available on this website, on the radio, or at www.timesunion.com or www.wnyt.com. The district also uses the SchoolMessenger system to alert parents via phone call, text message and email. Please click HERE to learn more about the SchoolMessenger system and how to modify how you receive messages.

So that phone lines may remain clear to communicate closure/delay status, please avoid calling the Transportation Department, District Office, or schools to find out if school is delayed or closed.
